This version is designed for treatment of vineyards and orchards with narrow rows. This air distribution unit is especially made for use in espalier-trained tree crops (vineyards and orchards). The unit has to be installed on a support that also acts as the phytosanitary product feeder. It can also be fitted on a mobile boom for use on tall trees. The unit is made up of a vertical structure, with elliptical section, specifically designed to generate a uniform airflow towards the 4 nozzles fitted vertically inside the air outlet section. The airflow is generated by an axial fan with vertical axis on the top of the structure. This solution prevents leaves and other plant material from being sucked in during operation, putting an end to fan guard blockage problems that lower the fan’s performance. It can be used as a stand-alone.
